The many possibilities for start-ups and small size enterprises to boost their business that are at offer on the Austrian innovative market results in many additional questions on the best way to proceed. As the 60+ participants at the event imply, the need and interest for more information on this topic is highly sought after.

At an event earlier this month, co-organized with some of the top experts on the subject of funding and financing possibilities, we offered an opportunity to discover how your company can benefit from existing initiatives to support strategic goals of growth.

The event paid extra attention to the current Spanish-Austrian economic cooperation initiatives and to highlight the importance of this initiative representatives from the Economic and Commercial Department of the Spanish Embassy as well as the Spanish-Austrian Entrepreneurs Association, were accounted for. Both institutions aim to support economic relations between these two countries.

The program during the day started off with an introduction to the SME Instrument and EUREKA Spain-Austria by representatives from FFG (Austrian Research Promotion Agency) followed by best practices and keys to success within the SME Instrument with our own Erick Fiklocki.

After a brief brake at half-time the Austrian Economic Chamber and Vienna Business Agency continued on with explaining the existing public support for the application to international institutions. The day ended with an introduction to opportunities for innovation financing with the “Erste Bank”.
